What to expect?
Ocean Odyssey is an aquarium created by National Geographic, which thanks to the latest technology has brought the sea life to the heart of New York City. Embark on a virtual trip as you explore the aquarium and get a close look at the great white whale or the giant octopus, among many other species.
Enjoy a 5-minute video presentation on the Ocean Odyssey just after you enter the aquarium and then begin your journey into the depths of the Ocean.
Thanks to the latest interactive technology, you’ll have the opportunity to play with sea lions, get a close look at different sharks and discover how these mammals and fish live and in which parts of the world.
The National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey in New York opens every day at 10am. From Sunday to Thursday, the aquarium closes at 9pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, it closes at 10pm.
The visit lasts approximately 75-90 minutes.
