To Kill a Mockingbird Broadway

Harper Lee's 1960 novel To Kill a Mockingbird is a classic of modern American literature. The Pulitzer Prize winner is inspired by the author's childhood experiences of an event that occurred in her Alabama hometown. Despite dealing with the serious matters of rape and racial inequality, the story is renowned for its warmth and humour.

Only opening in December 2018, the Broadway production of To Kill a Mockingbird quickly became the highest-grossing American play in history, reflecting the global phenomenon of the novel on which it is based.
