Harry Potter and the Cursed Legacy, based on the story by J.K. Rowling, travels to the future when the famous magician goes to Kings Cross station to accompany his son on his first trip to Hogwarts.
The young Albus Severus Potter holds great promise for the world of magic, but will he be able to live up to his father's reputation? Can a Potter really end up in a house other than Gryffindor?
Harry Potter and the Cursed Legacy is performed in two parts. Each part lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes, including a break. In total, it's about 5 hours and 20 minutes.
If you buy tickets for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, you'll see Part I in the morning and Part II in the afternoon. If you buy a ticket for Thursday, you'll see the second part the next day. The times are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday: Part I at 2 pm and Part II at 7:30 pm.
- Thursday: Part I at 7:30 pm and Part II on Friday at 7:30 pm.
- Sunday: Part I at 1 pm and Part II at 6:30 pm.
First performed in 2018, Harry Potter and the Cursed Legacy has become one of Broadway's most popular plays. Its availability is quite limited. If you're travelling to New York in summer or at Christmas, we recommend booking two months in advance.
The theatre automatically allocates the best available adjacent seats at the time of purchase - the sooner you book, the better! When you book, you can choose from the seats located in the following areas:
- Prime Orchestra (near the stage) or Dress Circle (front rows).
- Rear Orchestra (a little further away) or Dress Circle (last rows).

The Lyric Theatre opened its doors at the end of the 20th century and was completely renovated between 2017 and 2018 to house Harry Potter and the Cursed Legacy. It has more than 1600 seats that have seen musicals including Spider-man, Paramour and Jesus Christ Superstar.
The play is recommended for children over 9 years old.
