Located at Pier 86 on Manhattan's West Side, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum was founded in 1982 with the acquisition of the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid.
This non-profit educational institution's collection also includes the space shuttle Enterprise, the world's fastest jet aircraft, and even a guided missile submarine!
With technologically innovative aircrafts and vessels on display at the museum, you can take a fun, interactive journey through U.S. naval and aerospace history.
Hours
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum hours are as follows:
- November 1 - March 31: daily, 10 am - 5 pm
- April 1 - October 31: Monday - Friday, 10 am - 5 pm. Saturdays & Sundays, 10 am - 6 pm.
