The Musical

Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz opened on Broadway in October 2003 and has won three Tony Awards and six Drama Desk Awards. Moreover, its original cast album received a Grammy Award. It has captivated millions of spectators with its remarkable visionary production design.

According to The Times Magazine, “if every musical had the brain, the heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place. You’ll be glued to your seats from the very start of the Musical until the surprising end of this Broadway super production.

Based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, the musical tells the story of Elphaba Thropp, born with emerald green skin and her beautiful, popular and ambitious friend Glinda and their unusual friendship until Elphaba becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda into the Good Witch.

Although Wicked is on eight times a week in the largest Broadway theatre, tickets are quickly sold out, so we recommend booking them in advance.

The Theatre allocates the seats at the time of booking on a best available seat basis, so we recommend you book the tickets as soon as possible to get a good place!

All our tickets correspond to Orchestra or Front Mezzanine seats. This means that your seats will be in the stalls (98% of the times) or in the front lines of the mezzanine, ensuring a great view of the musical.

Gershwin Theatre

Gershwin Theatre hosts Wicked the Musical. It is the largest Broadway theatre with a seating capacity of 1,933. It was opened to the public in 1972 under the name Uris Theatre and was renamed Gershwin in 1983 to commemorate one of the most important American composers George Gershwin.
